White Cap Account Manager Julie Jensen has been recognized as part of the Top Women in Hardware and Building Supply by Hardware + Building Supply Dealer (HBSDealer) Magazine, an online and print publication for lumber and building material distributors and wholesalers.
The Top Women in Hardware and Building Supply is a list of women awarded for either “Business Excellence” and “Rising Star” qualities. This distinguished group of women was compiled through nominations HBSDealer gathered from the industry throughout 2021.
Julie has been named to the Business Excellence category, which recognizes leaders who have demonstrated achievement, growth and success in the hardware and home improvement industry, embraced education and community service, and has inspired others to follow a similar path.
Julie has been with White Cap for 21 years. Her role began as and still holds the title of an Account Manager in Ventura, California, for the Southwest Valley District. Last year, Julie achieved her goal of becoming one of the Top 100 sales representatives in the company. Today, she is in the Top 50 overall and Top 2 for women in the company.
Julie brings years of expertise and knowledge to the field, accrediting much of her success to mentorships over the years. “Having a mentor to turn to for advice and direction was a very effective way of transforming knowledge into wisdom,” stated Julie. Now, she has the opportunity to train and give back to others entering the White Cap salesforce. “There is no better way to embed knowledge than through teaching and passing it onto others.”
Julie is someone who has paved the way for other women to succeed in the industry. She has proven herself to be a knowledgeable pro at White Cap and a huge asset to her customers. In a competitive field, Julie is proud to strengthen and amplify the success of women in the construction industry.
